For those of you that already know my situation, I'm finally getting my engine and tranny rebuilt very soon, and I'm open to any options and suggestions you guys may have. As for my cost limit, let's just say that I want to make sure it's done right. Nothing over the top, but I expect craftsmanship that goes above and beyond any ordinary Z engine shop. And since the engine will be out, would you recommend any specific type of service or treatment to the engine or "hard to get to" bolt on parts before the engine goes back in? (I've also studied most of the Sport Compact, Project Z articles, but I'm not sure on which treatment is right for my 40/60 track/street useage) Not too expensive, but effective enough to make a different in the longevity and/or performance of the car. I also have an (HKS) EVC, (Greddy) additional injectors (2x555cc), Simulator and Controller on stand by for installation as well. Kojima, ZHOUND, SteaMy, Mike(LaCanada), and whoever I forgot.....I know you guys are out there. And if any of you have any "shop" contacts that might be able to get me in very soon (within the month), it would be greatly appreciated.
